Belt size
The belt size is correlated to the waist size. You have to measure from the middle of the buckle till to the eyelet you prefer to use. For new belte the middle eyelet will be taken. For a new belt take the middle eyelet. Our leather belts are in stock in a couple of sizes from Small to eXtra large and above.
A belt in size S is designed for a medium waist circumference of ca. 31 inch, M for ca. 34 inch, L for ca. 37 inch, XL for ca. 40 inch and so one. We are happy to make your individual belt, e.g. in XXXXL, and that is not at all rare. We even have this size in stock for most models.
The Sam-Browne-Belt, the large gear belt used by US cops, will be worn above your trouser’s belt. The belt is 2.5 inch wide and very thick, so it won’t fit through most belt loops. It will be connected with your trouser’s belt by additional belt loops to avoid slipping down. Since you have to order your Sam-Browne-Belt one size larger than your normal belt size. If you’re wearing it in your leather jacket you need it at least two sizes larger.
But you won’t have to ask yourself the question of size too often when you buy your belts from us. Our self-made styles are resilient and retain their shape. With moderate use, they last for over ten years.
